A major gas line that was struck in the Long Grove area began leaking.
According to the Scott County Sherrif’s Office, motorists have been asked to avoid 1st Street and Cadda Road on Saturday, April 6, while MidAmerican crews make repairs.
The Long Grove Fire Department and Scott County Sherrif’s Office were sent to the scene.
No evacuations were necessary.
