A Davenport chiropractor is a finalist to be a team doctor for the 2014 U.S. Olympic Team.

Dr. Jason Rannfeldt of Rannfeldt Family Chiropractic is going through the selection process, which includes an application, interview, essays, and a review of credentials.

“It’s one of those goals you kind of put on your bucket list and at my age, I didn’t think it was going to happen,” said Rannfeldt. “Really kind of a culmination of a career as far as the sports go, so very, very huge honor to be able to do it.”

In the past, the chiropractor has worked with players from the Mallards and the River Bandits.
