A vehicle landed in a water-filled ditch when it left the road and overturned south of Durant, Iowa.
The crash was reported just before 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 120th Street and Vail Avenue in Muscatine County.
First responders pulled a man from the vehicle, which landed in about six to eight inches of water.
A helicopter ambulance was alerted but not sent to the scene of the crash. The rescued man was taken by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
