A Davenport, Iowa man was reported missing after he didn’t return from a boat trip in the Florida Keys.
The Miami Herald reports 49-year-old Mark Polaschek, his wife and their six-year-old son were vacationing in Key Largo.
Polaschek is a financial advisor in the Quad Cities.
Polaschek did not return after he left to go sailing Friday, March 22, 2013 on the Gulf of Mexico side of Key Largo. His wife reported him missing the next day.
Polaschek was not an experienced boater, and his wife reportedly said she didn’t like to go on the water with him because of his “lack of boating skills.”
Searchers found the boat, but did not fine Polaschek.
