Galesburg Annual Easter Egg Hunt Postponed

The Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for Sunday, March 24 has been rescheduled.

According to the City of Galesburg, the event will be held on Saturday, March 30 at 1 p.m. at Lakeside Recreation on the grounds outside.

Kids ages two to sixth grade and their parents are welcome to come search for thousands of eggs. 100 gold eggs will filled with prizes and 12,000 colorful eggs will hold candy.

The event is free to all area youth.

Parents are welcome to take pictures at the event and the Easter Bunny will be there to take pictures with the children as well.

Sponsors include Hy-Vee Food Stores and the City of Galesburg Recreation Division.
