Man killed by fallen tree

A Morrison, Illinois man died when a tree he was cutting apparently fell on him.

Police said they were sent to a rural Morrison address at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2013.

They arrived to find the body of a 51-year-old man from Morrison.

Police said the man was cutting a tree when it fell on him.

The man’s identity was withheld pending notification of family members.
