A third person was arrested in connection with the death of a man whose body was found in a Scott County farm field.

The body of Robby Ray Kohn, 41, of Davenport, was found at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the entrance to a field near Utah Avenue and Telegraph Road.

Police said there was visible trauma to his body and they classified his death as a homicide.  Police later said Kohn died from a single gunshot wound to his head.

Police said Jessica Loerzel, 20, of Davenport and Barry Hamilton, 20, of Chicago confessed to their involvement in Kohn’s death.

Police had also been searching since December for Darius Johnson, 21, of Chicago in connection with the case.  Davenport Police said U.S. Marshals arrested Johnson in Gary, Indiana.

Scott County authorities planned to pursue extraditing Johnson to Davenport where he faces charges of first-degree murder and willful injury.
