St. Patty’s Weekend: Your Itinerary

The St. Patrick's Day festivities kick off Friday with three days full of activities.

The Gathering of the Clan lunch starts at 11 a.m. Friday at the River Center in downtown Davenport. Crews will announce the Grand Marshall for the parade Friday.

Kelly's Irish Pub starts its three days of activities Friday. The Mayer School of Irish Dance will be at the restaurant along with musical guests.

Saturday, Kelly's opens back up again at 6 a.m. to serve people Lucky Charms cereal. The photo booth opens at 10 a.m. right before the parade.

Also Saturday morning, the Center for Active Seniors will hold its annual St. Patty's Day Races in downtown Davenport. The first one starts at 8:30 a.m.

Saturday morning, the St. Patty's Day Parade starts at 11:30 at 23rd Street and 4th Avenue in Rock Island. The route heads west to go over the Centennial Bridge in Davenport and ends at 2nd Street and Harrison.

The Post Parade Bash starts at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the River Center. Meanwhile, Skydiving leprechauns are supposed to hit Kelly's at 3:45 p.m. Saturday. The festivities continue at Kelly's through Sunday afternoon.
