Three different scholarships are being offered by the Friendly House, which is a neighborhood center that serves children, families, and seniors in need.

To qualify for the Ivory/Optimist Scholarship you must be a graduating senior from the Davenport School District who is planning on attending a licensed or accredited trade/vocational school, college or university.

The Micka Scholarship will go to a nontraditional student who is 21 years or older.

The Mort and Tish Levy Educational Scholarship is for either a high school senior or someone over 18 who is pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree, especially in technical or fine arts.

All applicants must have been a full-time resident of Davenport for at least three years.

Applications are available at Davenport high schools, local colleges, Friendly House or their website.
