Petition to have Macho Man Randy Savage Day

A WWE Champion wrestler was taken from the world in 2011. Now a group of fans is working to have a day set aside each year to remember, Macho Man Randy Savage.

Fans are petitioning to name May 20, Macho Man Randy Savage Day. The petition is currently posted on the White House website and needs 100,000 signatures before it can be considered by the Obama Administration.

The petition states it intends to celebrate and remember the Macho Man’s life and “keep his legacy alive for future generations to appreciate and enjoy.

All 100,000 signatures must be fulfilled by Thursday, April 4, 2013.
