Thousands of Girl Scouts gathered at the River Center for the annual Journey the World event on Saturday.
The event honored the Girl Scouts’ World Thinking Day and was dedicated to healthy living.
Girls explored a number of healthy living topics like nutrition, fitness, safety and environmental health.
The day consisted of a Zumba lesson with instructors from St. Ambrose, working with Hy-Vee to learn about healthy food choices, and helping others by packaging meals for children in more than 60 countries around the world.
