Police: Stabbing victim tried to get into parked cars

A man found suffering from three apparent knife wounds was found when police were called to investigate someone trying to get into parked cars.

A man found suffering from three apparent knife wounds was found when police were called to investigate someone trying to get into parked cars.

Moline Police say they were called to the area of 18th Street and Sixth Avenue at about 4:30 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2013 to investigate a man trying to open doors on parked vehicles.

When they arrived, officers said they found a 28-year-old man suffering from three puncture wounds.

His injuries appeared to be caused by a knife, and they were considered non-life-threatening.  It was unclear how his injuries happened.
