A Colorado waitress says her stolen driver’s license turned up when a customer handed it to her while ordering drinks.

Applebee’s waitress Brianna Priddy said her wallet was stolen in February 2013.

During a recent work shift, Brianna was taking drink orders from customers when one of them handed over Brianna’s stolen driver’s license.

KDVR reports Brianna kept her cool, went to the back of the restaurant and called police.  She stalled the customers by serving them water and taking their appetizer order.

“I don’t know how I kept it cool.  I wanted to jump across the table and go at her!” Brianna said.

The suspect had allegedly used the stolen identification to write bad checks.  She faces identity theft charges.
