The Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce is getting ready for its two Davenport offices to become one later this year.

The chamber will be leaving the location at 2nd and Main St., and will consolidate into its office at 3rd and Ripley St.

The group will sell its Moline building at 7th Ave. and 19th St. and will be relocating to a new office on River Drive.

“I think that the move will be very exciting,” said QC Chamber of Commerce CEO, Tara Barney. “Gives us a chance as every move like this does to rethink our operations, rethink how our staff works with each other and so we think it’ll be very invigorating for the chamber of commerce.”

The office merge is expected to take place on August 1.
