Putnam Shows Off Human Organs

The Putnam Museum is getting things ready for the Bodies Revealed Exhibition in town.

Bodies Revealed will allow the public to see inside specimens and learn the detailed structure and function of the human body. The exhibit travels around the world and has 15 million visitors worldwide.

The exhibit will show off damaged lungs and other parts of the body that have not been taken care of. Bodies Revealed is showing off these features to try to educate people on how they can take care of their body.

The Putnam Museum will also have education seminars and physician presentations throughout the five month period. Trinity Regional Health System will also be on hand to explain parts of the show.

The event starts Saturday March 9th and continues through July. Tickets costs $13 for children, $16 for seniors, and $18 for adults. Phone and walk up tickets are the only ones available.

Exhibit hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The exhibit is also open on Sunday from Noon to 4 p.m.
