A crash on the Illinois-bound lanes of the I-74 bridge backed up traffic for about an hour for morning commuters.
A witness reported the wreck involved a pickup truck and two other cars. It happened just before 8 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013.
The road was reduced to one open lane for traffic.
Illinois-bound traffic was backed up from the bridge to Middle Road at 8:45 a.m.
All lanes on the bridge were reopened by 9 a.m.
