Two area breweries are on a list of favorites for Beer Tours USA founder Robin Fuchs.
Fuchs and a partner started Beer Tours USA in 2011 as an opportunity to share their enthusiasm for touring small craft breweries across the country.
They are currently planning tours for this year. Tours typically include hotel stays and transportation via chartered bus.
FoxNews.com reports Fuchs shared some of his favorite beer tours – and two of them are in our area.
Fuchs likes Great River Brewery in Davenport, Iowa for its friendly atmosphere and their “huge amount of talent and knowledge” for brewing.
Fuchs also likes Galena Brewing Company in Galena, Illinois, saying “This place explodes with fun and charisma!”
Also on the list of his favorites are Six Row Brewing Company in St. Louis; Triumph Brewing Company in Philadelphia and Potosi Brewing Company in Potosi, Wisconsin.
