River Bandits hold job fair and auditions

Quad City residents came to Modern Woodmen Park in Davenport Saturday in search of jobs, while others came to showcase their talents.

Quad City residents came to Modern Woodmen Park in Davenport Saturday in search of jobs, while others came to showcase their talents.

The River Bandits held a job fair looking to fill positions at the park for their 2013 season, which begins April 11.

Others came to audition as pre-game performers.

The team is looking for National Anthem singers as well as individuals or groups who have a special talent and can entertain the fans before games.

Staff members said they saw many new faces, but enjoy seeing the same crew return year after year.

According to the River Bandits’ website, The River Bandits will have another job fair after the start of their season.

They will be looking for staff for the new attractions including the Ferris wheel, carousel and zip lines. These parts of the park will run on both game days and non-game days.
