According to officials, A.J. Sellers, 22, and Kelsey Block, 18, were arrested in connection to the dog’s death.

Ty Hickman, 23, is charged with animal torture in the case.

All three are out on bond.

A Jesup, Iowa man was arrested in connection with the starvation death of a dog found in Waterloo.

The feces- and urine-covered body of a young dead dog was found inside a crate along a street February 16, 2013.

A reward of more than $7,000 was offered for information leading to the person or persons responsible for the animal’s death.

Buchanan County authorities confirm Ty Hickman, 23, was arrested February 28, 2013 in connection with the case.  Waterloo authorities confirm Hickman was charged with a misdemeanor count of torture of an animal.

Online records show Hickman was released on his own recognizance March 1, 2013.
