The Moline Foundation is asking people what they want done to Moline's river front.

The Moline Foundation is calling this plan River Vision 2020, and it's holding two more community forums to get the public's comments. One will take place Thursday, Feb. 28th and the other will be Thursday March 14th. Both will take place at the Western Illinois University Quad Cities Riverfront Campus in Moline at 5:30 p.m.

River Vision 2020 is in addition to the WIU-QC expansion project already happening on Moline's river front. As previously reported, the school is already working on Phase II of the project. It is adding  the Arts and Sciences, Education and Human Services majors to the river front.

The Moline Foundation and WQPT are having college students and young professionals make videos describing what they want done with the river front. Both groups are having the students post videos on the internet, and the winning video will get a $500 prize.

The Moline Foundation also wants comments on the downtown river front and the Floreciente neighborhood. Dinner will be served at the meetings.
