A former Davenport alderman accused of assault was found not guilty in Scott County Court.
Keith Meyer, 71, faced the misdemeanor charge of assault while displaying a weapon after he was arrested in November 2012.
Meyer and his neighbor reported argued over a speed bump Meyer was constructing in the driveway they share, and Meyer allegedly pointed a shotgun at the neighbor.
