Police confirmed the driver killed in a head-on crash in Henderson County was 53-year-old Douglas Schnicker of Burlington, Iowa.

A Burlington, Iowa man died from injuries he suffered when the delivery truck he was driving was struck head-on by a tractor trailer in Henderson County, Illinois.
The crash was reported at 5:45 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2013.
Police said the 53-year-old driver was operating a Sara Lee delivery truck headed eastbound on U.S. 34. He was about a mile west of Illinois Route 164 when a westbound tractor trailer, belonging to Autobahn Freightlines of Canada, crossed the center line as the driver negotiated a curve in the road.
The delivery truck driver, whose identity was withheld, died as a result of the crash. His front seat passenger, 55-year-old William Krapfl of Anamosa, Iowa, was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the tractor trailer, 35-year-old Satwinder Gakhar of Ontario, Canada, was flown to a hospital where he was being treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He was cited for improper lane usage and failure to wear a seat belt.
Police said both of the injured men were listed in stable condition.
