A man was killed in a car accident Saturday night, February 9, 2013 in Knox County.
Investigators found the car in a cornfield on the east side of Route 97 near Gilson, Illinois.
They say it appeared to have rolled over several times before leaving the roadway.
The driver, Sammy Marksity, 72, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His wife was taken to Saint Francis Hospital, where she's being treated for a broken leg and head injuries.
The cause of the crash was not yet determined.
