Police are searching for a man who allegedly failed to return from work to a Davenport halfway house.

Roger Romero Clayton, 36, was held at the work release OWI center at 605 Main Street in Davenport since he was transferred there December 6, 2012.  Clayton was serving a 20-year sentence that started September 29, 2006 for intimidation with a dangerous weapon, going armed with intent and possession of a firearm as a felon.

Authorities said Clayton went to work and failed to return to the facility February 1, 2013.

Clayton is 6-feet 3-inches tall and weighs 183 pounds.  He has tattoos on his abdomen, both upper arms, both forearms, back and chest.

Anyone with information about Clayton should contact police.
