Niabi Zoo is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and the fun starts with free admission on opening day.
Gates open for the first day of the 2013 season March 11 at 9:30 a.m.
Zoo officials announced the first day of the season on the Niabi Zoo Facebook page. The event post says they’ll offer free admission that day.
Niabi Zoo is at 13010 Niabi Zoo Road in Coal Valley, Illinois.
