An East Moline man has reportedly been caught driving while revoked for the 16th time.

Richard Bellmon, 53, was charged Tuesday, January 22, 2013 with felony driving while revoked 15 or more times.  He also faces two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence.   The charges stem from citations issued to Bellmon on November 5, 2012 when he was already prohibited from driving because of a previous conviction for driving under the influence.

The Dispatch-Argus reports Bellmon had been caught driving on a revoked license 15 times in Illinois between 1996 and 2010.

Court records show Bellmon was appointed a public defender and admonished by the judge at his first court appearance January 23.  His bond was set at $50,000, and he remained held in the Rock Island County Jail.

Bellmon was next scheduled to appear in court January 29.
