Carbon-Cliff, Barstow merge fire services

It’s a new era for Carbon-Cliff and Barstow.

A swearing-in ceremony was held Sunday for the area’s newly-consolidated fire protection district.

Back in November, the Village of Carbon Cliff voted to join the Barstow Fire Protection District.

Former Carbon Cliff firefighters and officers were sworn in to their new positions along with the former Barstow crew.
