We're barely out of a big election year and already talk is turning to 2016.

Political insiders say Vice President Joe Biden may be hinting at his political future by the way he's celebrating the start of his second term.

Biden is considered a frontrunner for the democratic presidential nomination.

He attended an inaugural event Sunday thrown by Iowa democrats.

At the event, Biden misspoke and said he was “proud to be the President of the United States.”

He corrected himself shortly thereafter.

Polls show that Biden would be a popular candidate among democrats but not as popular as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who may be considering running for president.
