Police found more than 360 pounds of marijuana in a vehicle they stopped for speeding.

KJAN reports an Iowa State Patrol trooper stopped a vehicle at about 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013 as it traveled eastbound on I-80 in Cass County.

The driver reportedly told the trooper he was on his way to Minnesota.   The trooper became suspicious during his conversation with the driver, and the vehicle was searched.

A police dog alerted to the presence of narcotics during the search.  Police reportedly found 363 pounds of marijuana in the vehicle.

The estimated street value of the marijuana is more than $870,000.

The driver, whose identity was not released, was arrested.
