Dixon police are investigating a homicide.
At about 2:30 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2013, police responded to a call at 230 Lincolnway, where they found a woman’s body.
They found the body of 34-year-old Yolanda Sigler inside the home. Police said Sigler’s husband, 34-year-old Brian Sigler, is the suspect in her death.
Brian Sigler was also found in the home and he was taken to a local hospital. Police said Brian Sigler suffered “numerous significant” self-inflicted knife wounds.
Police say the incident appears to be domestic in nature. Brian Sigler had not yet been charged in connection with the incident.
