WASHINGTON, DC – The wind energy industry breathed a sigh of relief last night.
The “Fiscal Cliff” deal does include an extension of the wind energy tax credits for wind projects that start in 2013.
Iowa lawmakers pushed for the tax credit to keep the growing energy business alive in the state.
The American Wind Energy Association says the extension of the credits will save 37,000 jobs and revive business at 500 wind factories.
