A new date is on the calendar for the previously-postponed February 1 Green Day concert at iWireless Center in Moline, Illinois.

Lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong reportedly had a meltdown onstage in September, leading the band to postpone all concerts set for January and February while Armstrong sought help for substance abuse.

The band announced December 31, 2012 it has rescheduled some of those January and February appearances, including the Quad Cities date.

The day before the new schedule was announced, the band posted an Instagram message from Billie Joe Armstrong on its website that said, in part, “Dear Friends, I just wanted to thank you all for the love support you’ve showed for the past few months.  Believe me, it hasn’t gone unnoticed and I’m eternally grateful to have such an amazing set of friends and family.  I’m getting better everyday.  So now, without further ado, the show must go on.”

The show originally set for February 1, 2013 at iWireless Center in Moline is now scheduled for March 29, 2013.

“Tickets for shows that had been postponed will be honored at these new dates,” said a statement from the band.

Green Day cancelled six January concerts and four February concerts including a January 7 Green Bay performance, a February 2 date in Madison and a February 4 date in Omaha.
