GALVA - A Galva family is speaking out after a reported gun fight and home invasion left several people hurt at their home.

It happened in the 400 block of East Division Street just before 11 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2012.   The Nelson family says four men came up to their door and broke in.

"It's the scariest thing in the world," relative Whitney Nelson said. "It really is."

Nelson and police say a gun fight occurred at her sister's house Friday. The Nelson family showed us bullet holes in their walls as a result of the gun fight. Nelson says her sister's boyfriend Dustin Brock shot at one of the men who allegedly broke into the house. Both Brock and one of the gunmen were injured in the fight.

"He did what he had to do to protect his household," Nelson said of Brock. "I give him credit for that."

Sunday, police arrested Otha Anderson and charged him with felony home invasion. The Nelsons say they know Anderson but believe he did not act alone.

"I hope eventually that all of this will be resolved," Nelson said. "I hope that all these people who did this will serve their time and get what they deserve for this."

Police say are looking for more people who may have been involved. Anyone with information is asked to call the Henry County Crimestoppers at 1-800-227-2324.
