Crash closes eastbound I-80 at I-280

Eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 were closed at I-280 for nearly two hours after a crash that damaged a bridge.

The wreck happened Friday morning, December 28, 2012.  A semi traveling eastbound reportedly got stuck under the bridge at I-280 and I-80 in Scott County, Iowa.

The Iowa Department of Transportation reported they closed eastbound I-80 just after 11 a.m.  Traffic was detoured using I-280.

Eastbound I-80 reopened just before 1 p.m.
