The Salvation Army says last week’s snow storm is one of the factors that kept them from reaching their Red Kettle goal.
The Dispatch/Rock Island Argus reported that last week’s snow storm may have cost The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign at least $12,000.
As of Monday night, the Salvation Army goal for this year’s campaign was $185,00 short of its $725,000 goal.
The physical red kettles have been pulled from their locations but the campaign isn’t over. You can mail contributions to the Salvation Army at the address below or you can call 1-800-SAL-ARMY (or 725-2769) to make a credit card donation.
The Salvation Army will take donations through mid-January.
