Three women aren’t sure what can make up for the damage they say was done when they were identified on a restaurant bill as “Fat Girls.”

KXTV reports Christina Duran, Christina Huerta and Isabel Robles ate at the restaurant in the Cameo Club Casino in Stockton, California.  When they got their bill, the words “Fat Girls” were printed near the top of the receipt.

The women said their server denied having anything to do with it, explaining instead that “Jeff”, whose name is on the receipt, must have been the one who typed the words into the computer system.

Jeff was gone, so the ladies demanded to see a manager.

Huerta said the manager seemed to be struggling to keep himself from laughing about the situation.  He offered to discount their bill – first by 25 percent, then by 50 percent.

“It’s not funny,” Robles said, “I can just see it over and over again, and I still can’t believe it.  They labeled us ‘fat girls.’ It’s just something we got to deal with.”

Bar Manager Jimmy Siemers reportedly said Jeff admitted to typing the words into the restaurant’s computer system.  Jeff was suspended from his job as the company investigates the incident.

Several managers at the casino were apologetic and said they  hoped the women would return so they could deliver the apologies in person.
