An East Moline man is behind bars, accused of stabbing a woman.

Police say Sunday, just before 9 a.m., they responded to a domestic disturbance call at 41st Ave.

There, they found Kathleen Durbin, 47, suffering from multiple stab wounds.

She was taken to a hospital, where she remains in serious condition.

The suspect, Aaron Rowland, 39, was located a few hours later in Moline.

Police say he's the victim's estranged boyfriend.

Rowland is at the Rock Island County Jail on an attempted murder and aggravated battery with a weapon charge.
