Spruce Hills Drive was closed for more than a half hour after a wreck that involved an overturned car Friday, December 7, 2012.
Police said Mae Nidds was driving a 2005 Toyota Corolla eastbound in the 900 block of Spruce Hills Drive when the wreck happened just after 11 a.m.
Nidds reportedly ran a red light and then over-corrected. That’s when the car she was driving went off the road and overturned into a ditch.
Spruce Hills Drive was closed for just over a half hour.
Nidds was the only person in the car, and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Police said the nature and severity of her injuries was not known.
