A 61-year-old Letts, Iowa woman was sentenced to five years in prison for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

Prosecutors said for three years, from November 2009 to November 2011, Shannon Wroe distributed quarter- to half-pound quantities of methamphetamine to another Patricia Rae Parris, 53, of Davenport.

Parris and Angela Marie Ryan, 36, are awaiting sentencing in connection with the case.

The three women were busted by the Quad Cities Metropolitan Enforcement Group, commonly called MEG.

Wroe will spend five years in prison to be followed by two years of supervised release.
