Police are asking Muscatine residents to be extra vigilant after a man was reportedly seen acting suspiciously around children.
Police took a report Tuesday afternoon, November 27, 2012 after a man in a black minivan reportedly made obscene gestures and reached out toward children in the area of Kindler Avenue in Muscatine.
The kids ran to a nearby home to report what they saw.
The man was described as white, about 20 years old with dark brown hair and a tattoo on his face.
Police were working with the Muscatine Community School District to send information about the incident to all students in the area.
