The U.S. Bank branch in Muscatine, Iowa was reportedly robbed just after 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2012.

A man allegedly showed a small handgun when he demanded money from the teller at the U.S. Bank at 1800 Park Avenue.  He got away with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen running northbound from the bank.

The suspect was described as a thin-build black man who is about 35 years old and six feet tall.  He wore a blue sweatshirt, blue jeans, a ball cap and a colored scarf.  He also wore eyeglasses and has a goatee.  Initial reports indicated he was carrying a black Angry Birds bag or backpack.

No injuries were reported.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the suspect is asked to contact Muscatine, Iowa Police at (563) 263-9922, extension 608.  Anyone who sees the suspect should call 911.
