Davenport Community Schools are hosting a super Storm Relief Tuesday, November 27th and Wednesday, November 28th. Wilson Elementary School students sent a school bus full of supplies to the east coast aid in relief efforts. 

The schedule and location of the tractor- trailer drop of sites is as follows:

Tuesday, November 27th

8:00 am – 11:45 am          Wilson  Elementary, 2002 N Clark St.

12:15 pm – 1:00 pm         Jackson Elementary, 1307 Wisconsin St.

2:00 pm – 3:45 pm           Monroe Elementary and Smart Intermediate, 1934 West 5th St.

4:00 pm – 6:00 pm           Downtown Partnership

                                                Downtown Partnership Office, Main & Second Sts.

Wednesday, November 28th

8:00 am – 9:20 am            Harrison elementary, 1032 West 53rd St.

9:30 am – 10:30 am          Sudlow Intermediate & Washington Elementary, East Pleasant St.

11:00 am – Noon              Adams Elementary & Williams Intermediate Parking lot, 3040 N. Division St.

12:15 pm – 1:00 pm         JB Young K-8, 1702 Main Street

2:30 pm – 3:30 pm           Garfield Elementary, 902 East 29th St.

 

Donations needed include:

Supplies for reconstruction including plumbing and electrical supplies

Blankets

Flashlights and flashlight batteries

Gallon Ziploc bags

Cleaning supplies (brooms, flat shovels, mops, face masks, goggles, work gloves, hard hats, hydrogen peroxide, white vinegar)

Baby/toddler food and formula

Duct tape and scotch tape

Toiletries: deodorants, feminine hygiene products (tampons), soap, shampoo

Can openers

 Fluorescent pink spray paint

Children’s toys

Clothing is not needed at this time.
