An agriculture chemical facility appears to be the source for a fish kill in a creek in Johnson County, Iowa.
About 200 gallons of liquid, belived to be water that contained residue from agricultural chemicals, spilled from rinse tanks at AgVantage, at 225 South Augusta Avenue on the south side of the city of Oxford.
The liquid pooled on the ground and some of it reached nearby Rhine Creek according to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
About 100 dead minnows were found in there creek by early Thursday afternoon, November 8, 2012.
AgVantage was reportedly working on cleaning up the spill.
