Two people escaped when the car they were traveling in caught fire in Moline.
It happened just before 12:30 as the car was headed northbound on 27th Street at 52nd Avenue, just north of the Rock River.
Other motorists who noticed the fire helped the couple escape the burning car. It was quickly engulfed by fire.
No injuries were reported.
