Three students from Rockridge High School competed with online auditions for spots on a national high school women’s choir.

Murphy Bolt, Marissa Elliott and Kaitlin Stice will rehearse and perform as part of a 300-member choir at the American Choral Directors Association National Convention in Dallas, Texas in March 2013.

This is the first time Rockridge students will participate in the ACDA National High School Women’s Choir.   Former Rockridge student Kelsey Swan performed in the regional ACDA choir in Ohio in 2010.

Rockridge Choral Activities Director Curtis Fischer-Oelschlaeger was a member of the ACDA National Men’s Chorus in 1995.
