MOLINE, Illinois - "Good Morning Quad Cities" financial adviser Phil Kassewitz says you can expect a certain amount of uncertainty on the American stock exchanges due to the presidential elections.
"The markets don't like uncertainty and that will be the issue until this is resolved," said Kassewitz during a live interview Monday on News 8.
"If it drags out like it did in 2000, you will see a market that will continue to not like that and will react in very volatile ways back and forth."
Kassewitz says the closeness of the election should not have a big impact on the markets. Instead, investors want resolution to the campaign so they have a better idea how to chart the course of their investments.
