A photo of a restaurant receipt containing an apology instead of a tip has gone viral.
The pic was posted on Reddit a couple of days before Halloween. It shows a credit card receipt for a restaurant bill of $138.35.
On the line reserved for adding a tip, someone wrote “single mom sorry” instead of a dollar amount.
The caption on the Reddit post reads, “I’m sure $140 could have gotten you and your kids a week worth of groceries, but instead you spend it one one meal?! For shame!”
