Parents have until November 1 to return consent forms for free vaccine clinics offered in some Iowa schools.

The Scott County Health Department partnered with the state to hold Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and acellular pertussis) vaccine clinics for students sixth through 12th grade.

The vaccines are free to those students who need them, regardless of insurance status.

Parents must return consent forms to their children’s school no later than November 1, 2012.

The free clinics will begin in December and continue through March 2013.
