Video: Baby panda takes its first steps

He’s not quite three months old but the baby Giant Panda at the San Diego Zoo seems eager to take a walk.

The male cub weighed four pounds when he was born July 29, 2012.

His first try at walking seems a little wobbly, but zookeepers said he’ll probably be able to take real steps in a couple of weeks.

The cub does not yet have a name.  The zoo accepted name suggestions from the public, and they’ll hold a vote to select his name later.
