The construction on River Drive in Davenport continues but with a little change in store for drivers.
Repairs in the south two lanes between Mound Street and Bettendorf have been completed and traffic is expected to move to those two newly paved lanes.
Vehicles will continue to run in just one lane each direction though as crews start to work on the north lanes sometime Wednesday morning and continue after rush hour.
Multiple sewer and water repairs in the section between bridge and mound are still in progress. They are expected to be completed in the next week or so.
Also a few other construction projects for those driving through Davenport:
- For the next week, the 1700 block of West 53rd Street will be reduced to head to head traffic in the south lanes
- Also - starting tomorrow...sewer work will be closing the 23 hundred block of Arlington Avenue between Denison and Rusholme. That work should be completed by Friday October 26th.
